Julio is pursuing degrees with the Ross School of Business and the School of Natural Resources and Environment because he is a firm believer that business is one of the greatest forces that shape how people interact amongst themselves and with the environment. Before coming to Ann Arbor Julio had an ascending career developing and negotiating business deals in Mexico City, leading and coordinating teams across Latin America, developing trainings for new employees and meeting and interviewing heads of different businesses. He wants to refocus the wide range of corporate skills gained during this time into sustainable projects that positively affect the environment and impoverished communities around the world. Julio is an avid skier who wishes there were more mountains in Michigan but nonetheless enjoys all types of outdoor activities as well as reading historical novels.
