Dean is a BBA Senior pursuing emphases in Finance and Accounting. Most recently, he interned at StartUp Health working with a community of entrepreneurs passionate about transforming healthcare. Dean also spent time in Ghana building medical infrastructure in rural communities. Last summer, Dean worked in research lab at New York Medical College using organoselenium compounds as chemo-preventive agents. His lab’s abstract for their research was accepted to April Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology meeting in Boston. In addition, he spent time at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center working with Dr. Pietanza in outpatient clinical care. Dean currently serves as board member and co-founder of Compassion Let It Begin With Me, which is an organization, founded on the focus to bring comfort and hope to lung cancer patients’ lives. His interests include weight lifting, Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, meeting new people, traveling, and eating great food.
