Allison Zimmermann

Allison Zimmermann is a dual degree student pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the Ford School of Public Policy and a Master of Business Administration at the Ross School of Business where she is focusing on strategy and effective organizational management practices. For the last eight years she has worked in the education reform movement in a variety of roles, working with social entrepreneurs to open and expanding charter schools and nonprofits in under-resourced communities. She is interested in social entrepreneurship and effective social policy, particularly in the areas of education and poverty and inequality. She graduated from Boston University with Bachelors of Science in International Relations and Political Science. Post-graduation, Allison spent two years as a Teach for America corps member and completed her MS in General and Special Education at Bank Street College in New York City.
